Is this block and crank toast?

Whoever balanced the crank did an ugly job, but I don't see why it might be an issue, pretty sure the hole could be factory too  :dunno:

Not from what I see in the pix .
if you're rebuilding anyway look into a 440 Source 512" stroker , with new crank rods & pistons , they really are comparable price wise to rebuilding the oil parts

I built my 440 with the 440 source 512 kit, eagle forged crank. It was a sick motor!! Then I sold it to a guy in France.
