But that's not a B block.

EFI is absolutly worth doing you can do Throttle body as in Fast or FiTech , Fitech seems to be the better choice .
or do multiport , the biggest  hurdle with multiport is the intake Eddy may have a predrilled intake with rails , then you have  choice of top or front mount throttle body, again front mount is best but if you have to go to  top mount Accufab has a T body @ 1.7"tall so it is 1/2 the height of  a carb giving decent hood clearance especially with the flat hood . you can buy a system or piece one together .
Glad to help .

thanks. I'm now debating on multi port or tbi. Eddy makes a drilled and rail for the RB. We may have to find a way to make this happen.

It is not that hard to drill holes in the intake & weld in bungs for the injectors ,this is the better way but more expensive  , the intake is a lot less critical with multiport too so almost anything can be used

I do have my performer rpm that can be used.

You can fabricate an Edelbrock Victor (or any other really - like Chryco said).  we are using FAST Throttle Body 307603 (not in pic). Fuel Tech is running the system on the Mopar (may be bit overboard for street car)

Wife's '57 has FAST Sportsman with lower profile intake modified for injectors and fuel runners.  Good street set up for multi port.

(LS smart coils are usual go to as well - can get em new or find em at junk yard ..either way not pricy)

The RPM would work very well
this is the T body we used , 1000 cfm

451, modified Victor 383, 55# injectors, Accufab TB, LS2(D585) coils, Megasquirt

You can see/hear it running, wasted spark.

Can go w/ raised port heads on the B and use 440 manifolds, lots of EFI options there.  I think @Chryco Psycho mentioned that before.

True there are a few choices of raised port head that when bolted to to a B block allows the use the RB intakes
this is the other intake that will work https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/edl-71443

So many cool options. Price is the only hold up now. Gotta get the engine built and then decide once the rotating assembly is together where my budget leaves me right now.
