Does anybody make a quality motor mount comparable to Poly-loc mounts ? Or any idea where to get Poly-loc mounts ?

Well they are in Seattle so who knows their current business status; it's a real general cluster state-wide in Washington right now.  Good luck

Mancini sells Schumacker made mounts too if you cannot reach them directly.

There is a big post on Moparts about Schumacher mounts.  It looks like they are out of business.  No one has been able to get in touch with them for awhile.  The owner had some health issues and might have just closed up shop.

As do I. Have them holding down the 440 for around 10 years now.

Do those magmounts have a through fastener holding the halves together?

Yes. There is a bolt holding them together.  I made my own using $8 mounts and a $1.00 bolt.  Helps to have the right tooling and a drill press or mill but can be done otherwise if you are clever.  Big flathead bolt with a nylock nut on the other side so the rubber can do it's job. I also swapped the nut on the tab so the driver side bolt will go in from the front and not require the header to come loose.

Mrbill426

Yup  :bigthumb:
