I appreciate everyone's advice here. The good thing is I am gonna pass on this deal and wait until I am actually ready. That is easily a year out. By then, hopefully the best systems will get even better and rise above the competition to make the choice simple. When I am ready, I plan to map it out right and put together something that is really nice. I like the idea of integrating it with the ignition system as well.

I built an EFI system using numerous parts from different suppliers , I went with an aviation rated computer system , multiport system with the injector right by the intake valve , crank trigger & I still used a single coil & dist but you can use multiple coil packs & lose the dist also .
The car had a wicked 440 in it with massive heads & a .660 lift roller race cam , but because of the EFI it idled in traffic at 800 rpm as every cylinder fired everytime up , you would never have known how much potential the engine had , it ran mid 11s @ 4000 ' altitude on street tires in street trim with the air cleaner on , just drive it to the track & run it as it is !!

Nice! I'll probably never want that much power. I just want the car to perform like a modern vehicle as much as the car design will allow.

That's the beauty of injection. WOT is potentially the same but it's the driveability that improves so much with injection. Start up, warm up, fuel mileage, ring seal life. It all improves with injection.

I went with Holley Sniper and in-tank pump after hearing issues with the FiTech and horrible customer service. Almost like they were really good about 4-5 years ago and then were in over their head a little while Holley brought on the Sniper and captured a significant share of the market. I hope FiTech has fixed the issues and stays competitive.

I'm glad I asked in this post before buying. Although the guy was selling it new in box, I don't need a bunch of headaches just to save some money. When I'm ready to actually install, I'll do some more research then. I have time.
