I agree.... Fact is they don't need to be a 100% seal, they act as an oil deflector the minimal amount of oil that could get past them has no where to go....

BIGSHCLUNK

Seals are in! Were easy to do, once I figured out they dont do in real far...    :haha:

A 90/90 night here - that is 90 in the garage and 90 dew point....  :Thud:  But I did get one V cover on. Did the  "easy" side. Plug tubes were not cooperative so I left well enough alone for today.  :wrenching:  maybe they need the freezer treatment  :notsure:

No brake booster makes it a ton easier.

PITA when I do the D/S valve adjustment.

But at least without that nasty humidity you've got there.

BIGSHCLUNK

Well I got the rt side cover on tonite ans 7 of 8 plugs back in. I need to make a minor adjustment on a tube seal. So  :fingerscrossed: I'm hoping to have her fired up by the weekend!!!!  :wrenching:

BIGSHCLUNK

That sounds really good. I bet those plugs look clean now. Temp gauge looks good, what was the outside temperature?

Running clean & cool so it seems like there was some improvement..... Your Ammeter still dances when the turn signals are on which is normal but still looks worrisome.... I've gone to LED bulbs all around & it really reduced the ammeter reaction to the turn signals...  It requires electronic flashers & you have to swap the polarity of the wires to the flasher mounted on the side of the ash tray... But the lights are brighter & they don't effect the headlights of the ammeter....

BIGSHCLUNK

Yes I've watched the ammeter dance...... but it's been converted to a volt meter....  :notsure:
