machine shop Sacramento or Nothern California

Looking for a good machine shop near Sacramento, but willing to travel some distance. I'm planning on doing the build myself. But need someone to do the machine work and offer advice. It's a bit daunting finding a shop. Many of the recommendations I found are old and the shops are closed or changed owners and the reputation doesn't seem to be as good.

Any thoughts?
