It hit almost 55 degrees Saturday, up from -8 earlier in the week, so I pulled out the car to warm it up. I had no issues getting it running but it has a pretty loud tick that didn`t go away, I`m hoping it`s just an out of adjustment lifter as I run solids and not a sticking valve or something. I did notice last fall a few times when getting on it when I let off it backlfired a bit, I guess I need to dig into it sooner than later so I have time to get it to the machine shop and back on before spring - always something.

Well that doesn't sound good.  Always a little nervous when spring comes and time to start cars for the first time and the winter break.  I hope it is something simple torrid!   :bigthumb:
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

It's winter here and 80*.  I take my Barracuda out every week and now the power steering pump is making unhappy noises.  It only has 2000 miles on it- yes always something!
