I apologize for the beginner question here but want to make sure I have everything correct before I start. I'm about to re seal my oil pan on a LA 318 and ordered a SCE gasket kit ( P/N 169090 ), believe it or not haven't done one yet. The 3 pics I attached, in the first one on the rubber U seal for both the front and rear of the pans, the offset part of the seal, where it is not flush with itself, that goes towards the inside of the engine correct? The second pic, I believe those 2 seals are not used for my application, one is for a 360 rear main and the other is a early style LA pan right? The last pic, I believe I have the gaskets correct whereas the rubber U gaskets go on the pan first, then the fiber side seals goes on the pan over top of them (closer to the block side)? Lastly what have you guys been using to seal with and where? I have permatex ultra black and also permatex aviation form a gasket #80019.

Thanks everyone!
