Oil filter adapter, 90 degree 74 Challenger 360LA

I think it's a 3/8 or 1/2 inch square drive in the center of the nipple?

Everything I saw was 50 ft/lbs... with the thicker cork gasket, it snugs up before the copper thin gasket under the head of the bolt seals, so you have to cinch it down pretty tight.

AND, if memory serves, it's a bastard size. 1 5/16ths" I think. Not a common automotive size. Don't go nuts, because if you strip the internal thread, you won't be happy. I'll try to remember to look in my service manual if necessary.  :cheers:

^^ This is what I'd be worried about, over stretching the hollow bolt to get the cork compressed enough. Thanks for looking into it.  :twothumbsup:

Okay, the only thing showing a size of 3/4" in the oil system seems to be that filter bolt and the manual calls for 50 lb/ft torque. Hope that helps!  :cheers:
