Does anyone have some good pictures of how the power steering lines on a 1970 440 are routed?

How about these from a 383? Saginaw pump.

On your pictures, the return line seems to point straight out to the drivers wheel well, on the pump I have, it points up. Curious how others are?

it would depend which pump you are using & possibly just the reservoir on the same pump , There were TRW , Federal & Saginaw pumps & the saginaw had at leas 3 different reservoirs over the years

If you have the Saginaw pump pictured, then you can have one of two outlets for the round can with the oval neck. The smallblock pump reservoir points upward and the B.B. one points sideways at the 9:00 position.

I got this pump from Dave at Roseville, it is a new OER manufactured one. I am guessing it won't hurt with it pointing up, I could just route the return line along the pressure line then, but I will check with Dave first.

Thanks.

Took it back and exchanged it for the right one.  Dave is the best!
