Probably a stupid question but which direction should a clutch fan spin?

Is the 7 blade factory clutch fan clockwise or counter clockwise?

Whatever way will draw air thru the radiator front to the engine compartment.

Standard Pulley setup runs clockwise looking at the radiator/fan from the front of the car, same as the crankshaft direction.

At least that is the way it is on my small block 73 with clutch fan... don't think big blocks are different though...

Not sure if surpentine type runs different or not...

Depends on the direction of the motor, should be clockwise on mopars.

All Chrysler engines turn clockwise (looking at the front of the engine). For the most part, all engines turn clockwise.  :alan2cents:

383 like 440 counter clockwise?
The distributor turns counter clock wise on a big-block, clock wise on a small-block.   :alan2cents:

While I agree with all of the above the fan should go clockwise looking at the front there is another catch !
It is easily possible to mount the fan [clutch type or not] backwards , I often seen this done !
the Inside of the blade [cupped side] should be mounted facing towards the engine !
