Looking for feedback on my 70 RT project.  I'm at the point where I need to be getting my K member ready for when the engine shop calls with my completed 440. I plan to take the K member with me to set the motor on when I pick up the engine. When I put the K member on the bench, I noticed the mounts look pretty good, but I'm thinking it best to replace them now. I'm going as close to original as possible, yet want to avoid any catastrophe since engine/trans are numbers matching. Needing suggestions as to where/who to go with. Thanks in advance.

The last time I bought a set of motor mounts was so long ago that there were still a lot of genuine Mopar parts around, but I have heard a lot of people saying that what's available aftermarket nowadays doesn't hold up very well.

I'd for sure be hesitant to use a $3 rock auto mount on a fully rebuilt #s matching big block.

I've heard a lot of good things about these but again don't have any firsthand experience with them.

Use what you have , all of the new mounts are garbage/ made in India  unless you use Poly Loc or Mag mounts which are different from original .
I usually build a strap from the engine ear to the cross bolt so the left mount cannot pull apart which can destroy the upper hose & the Fan shroud .

I used Schumacher poly-locks for my 440, here is the link: http://engine-swaps.com/Pages/ProductsYear/70.74eBody.html#head2.
I'm not sure they actually still selling but high quality stuff. If not I do suggest some type of poly-lock mounts.
