Guys, I ordered a new tank for my hemi swap and got strap insulators with it. They are kind of hockey stick shaped. I don't really see a sensible way for them to go on. Anyone put these on before?

Thanks

Jason

Called tanks inc. seems they should be straight. I swear they are so hockey stick shaped they were made that way, but, seems I was wrong.

I got them also, but from what I remember, mine were straight.

Mine slipped right on the straps.

Do you have part # SL24?

303,

I don't know the part number. Yours slip over the straps? Mine would just slide between.
Mine looked hockey stick shaped because they were packaged really unevenly. If that makes sense. They were wrinkled really badly. I probable had a few too many beverages when I first looked at them as well.......

They fit on the straps to ride between the tank and the strap.  Maybe set them out in the sun?

:iagree: Or if you live near me, you could warm it up with a heat gun or hair dryer.  :alan2cents:

Well, no way my insulators slip on a strap. At all.

My part # was :
4- SL24 - 24" Strap Liner- Sold Each @ $5.00 ($20.00)

For some reason I ordered 4 of them.

303, I will snap a pic this evening. The insulator is just a flat piece of......well......plastic rubbery stuff.

Probably 1/8 thick or so.
