Tuff Stuff Alternators? 130A alternatives?

Oh man! $400 alternators are something I'd like to avoid if possible. Thank God I don't run a bunch of large drawing accessories. What about the Jap stuff? Somebody said their Denso alternators were good and also powerful and it seems to me that I've seen photos, either here or on CC.com of them mounted. No?  :dunno:

I've seen several posts with the 1 wire Denso conversion... looking for a plug and play solution. Just bought a new fan controller that is supposed to ramp up the fans as opposed to that 70A full power on load my current setup has. That combined with a higher output alternator should do the trick. Have a new set of 7 blade (1600CFM)Spal fans I need to install as well. Hoping to have it all sorted in the next month or so.

70A  ???   Good grief that has to be wrong !   Looking on Summit the worst i found for dual fans was 45 amp.   Most single fans are in the 5 to 10 amp range.

When I was researching electric fans, I think I read the more amps the bester quality the fan sort of a deal?   I ended up buying one from this vendor at Carlisle one year. Great products and a small Ma/Pa type business! They have been working great for years now with no issues. I did end up using the Dakota digital fan controller though.

Looks like newer model has bluetooth. This one you can have for price of USPS shipping if you can use it.

I'm using a bracket kit from Mancini and running a Denso 120amp alt from a 1985 Toyota Pickup...

Internally regulated..   

Rock solid..        Found the alt on eBay for cheap....    I used an Amp install kit for the power cable (what I had)

No voltage regulator...       Amp gauge bypassed under the dash..       
H4 relay kit from Amazon, no flicker when I'm sitting at a stop light..
1973 BS23H Cuda' 340/TKX 5 speed (70 AAR clone-ish)

As mentioned above.       Not an oem look.       But readily available and I got this one from eBay for 60 bucks and its a Denso brand.  120amp.
