Hooker Stainless Exhaust System( Holley Owned) Ripoff

Paid over 1000.00 for a 304 SS exhaust system direct from company. Box came in tagged for A 1970-74 Barracuda Header back system which was packaged for a Superbee Rt.

Had to have it installed by Pro Exh Man so In my weeks  of waiting I polished the system before I got there.

Noticing a pkgs set of tips that said Superbee/Rt,I tried calling Holley/Hooker for a grand total of 19 times but was put on hold for over 20min to 1/2 hour before I hung up and tried again another day or time. Reached the sales rep once who said he was transferred to another dept.

Two long emails later I got a response after 2 weeks of the install. Basically they said to go pound salt.

After my aluminum system was cut off we noticed the whole system was wrong ! What was I to do? Have him reinstall my trashed aluminum system which of course would come with a charge,repack my new system and drive another hour, repackage and Mail the system back,  and wait another 2 months to get it installed again after sending it back?

Right now I'm out close to 3,000 but the system looks good even though it had to be cut up and 10 hours later!

Not sure what I can do to recoup something from Holley/Hooker?

All I can say is I'm done with that company and will pass on my Dissatisfaction to everyone I talk to.!

Wow, that sucks! Customer service from most big corporations is almost non-existent these days, only thing you can at this point is badmouth them and warn others. I still badmouth Jim`s Auto Parts and Hagerty every chance I get due to bad dealings with them.

That sucks, but if it said Superbee/RT then why go ahead with polishing it and trying to have it installed ?
I agree, a lot of companies have poor customer service these days.
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....
