How to get a post deleted

How do I get a for sale ad deleted from the Cars For Sale area? I tried to delete it myself but the system wouldn't allow it.

Possibly one of the moderators will confirm this, but if I remember correctly, ads are not allowed to be deleted, sellers mark the ad as sold or no longer available. This keeps the seller's info accessible for the purchaser.

I read the "Rules" section....what you are saying is not stated. Could a forum administrator/moderator please clarify?

I don't think you can delete a thread that other people have commented on....just mark it SOLD
