I recall I had a CB in my truck for about 1 month , never got the licence & got bored fast  :looney:

I played around with CB for a few years as a kid.  Then got my ham (amateur ) radio license when i was 16.

Had two different units one was a home unit and the other in the car. Both were the famous Motorola brand CB. Also got my license and used them for just over a year then lost interest.

That brought to mind my very first McDonald's experience in Downey, CA
Supposedly, not the first but the oldest operating McDonald's restaurant is a drive-up hamburger stand at 10207 Lakewood Boulevard at Florence Avenue in Downey, California
