Don't think my Dad was sober long enough to teach me to ride a bike :drunk: ...thankfully I was the youngest of five and caught onto things pretty quick !
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Awh jeez. I remember them trying to teach me on my 7 year older sister's bike. I think my head was about even with the seat, that was a really bad idea.

Boy, does this bring back memories!

My Mother taught me to ride a bike. It's because my Father worked such long hours and couldn't be there.

....Anyway, she would always tell me "I have you" when I tried to ride my bike. She would have a hold of the back of my seat. Then one day I turned around and realized she was 4 feet from the back of my bike. She couldn't keep up with me, and her little boy had finally figured it out. I have a feeling we were both really happy in that moment.   :)
