I miss the days when cars were a way of life. We all hung out at the drive in when everybody else went to the bar. Well of course we all went to the bar after the drive in closed but that's another story.

We did a lot of cruising the strip, mostly Fremont where we lived. Also San Leandro and Livermore. Had some great times then.

My Mom was a heck of a cook.... but when she needed a well deserved break, we went to A&W !!! Two blocks away from our house ! And we lived in a residential neighborhood ! I miss small town Kirkland. I got the teen burger of course . :drooling: Anybody remember A&W Drive-in on Market street in Kirkland WA ?
