Ahhh, that explains it. I thought the cage in the Superbird looked odd and and thought the Petty's had recycled the chassis into something else in 71. Also wondered what the heck would the Ricky Rudd Motorcraft Thunderbird be doing sitting in a yard with a Petty Plymouth?

Damn good modeling skills there.
