We wanted to show you how much you mean to all of us.  You have helped so many people out over the years and this was our way of saying thank you.  We really appreciate you and everything you do on these forums.  It was @HP_Cuda  that came to me and contacted Dave at Roseville to make this all happen.  Once we knew what we wanted to get you, Dave got us an awesome price and even paid all the shipping (not a light item)   :bradsthumb:

Just like you've helped so many in the past, we're now here to help you with your project.    :grouphug:  Hopefully you can put them to good use.  When you have time share a photo.   :takepicture:

Gee Cody, thanks for throwing me under the bus!!!

Darren, you more than anyone deserve a surprise now and then. You have helped out many and continue to do so and this is one small way to saying thank you and paying it forward.

Wow...

Not sure what to say.  I don't know that I deserve this but I'm going to accept it.  I'm always amazed at the kindness in the world.  Especially since you only see the "bad" reported on the news.  Thanks Bryan, Cody and Dave.  I owe you guys big time!

This gift will definitely be put to good use.  I was going to use the full length versions but they hang a little too low, the stock trans cooler lines can't be used and the shifter cable runs right into one of the tubes.  These should fix all those issues. :drinkingbud: :grouphug:

Right on my Mopar brother! You deserve it!!

I cannot wait to see them on the Dart!!!

:iagree:  AND I got a couple really cool calendars out of the deal.  A couple weeks ago I got an email from Dave.  He said he wanted to send out a calendar and needed to verify that I was still at the same address.  Very sneaky indeed!

Well, I pulled the engine on Saturday.  Now the garage is filled with parts and my truck is sitting outside.  Just in time for the 7.6" of snow we got on Sunday.  I guess I didn't time that very well.  :))

I made some lift bars out of 1/8" 2x2 angle iron last year.  The bars were more than strong enough to lift the bare shell over the engine.  However, I tried moving the front end around with the cherry picker once the engine/trans/suspension was installed and the bars started to flex.  I decided to make some new lift bars with thicker material.  Now they are made out of 1/4" thick 2x2 and I made them shorter then before.  These don't flex.

I got the headers installed.  A few of the holes needed to be enlarged but that was no big deal.  An air grinder took care of that.  I'm leaving the studs in the head so I don't have to worry about coolant leaks.  The headers slip right on even with the studs in place.  I think I'm going to get some 12 pointed nuts for the end studs.  That will look nicer then standard nuts.

One trans cooler line is hitting the B&M shifter cable bracket.  I think I can lower the bracket with some thicker shims to take care of that.  Worst case I can notch the bracket.

I think now is the time to send off the steering box to Firm Feel.  I want to get the engine back under the car as soon as possible.  Have I mentioned that I need a nice shop to house my two cars?  I hate having the daily drivers sitting outside.  I don't even have room to store the Challenger at my house.  We are thinking of moving sometime in the next few years so a shop will be on the list of properties to look for.
