I loved pirates since I was a kid. I lived DEEP south for 12 years, was stunned to learn that Pirates sailed up the Miss. River? Did not know that?
Named my favorite Chow after the best pirate name I could think of - RoyBuss LaVerne, lol! She lived almost 18 years. Smartest dog that ever owned me.

I don't know why this post, maybe the mention of pirates, reminded me of the movie Goonies. Neat story though.
