I did Watch the All Star race... Pretty decent wreck fest & the last restart to finish was good however the format of this race has no impact on the rest of the season. 
Perhaps a competition caution with 10-laps to go would spice things up... LOL

and I`ll add that they got rid of some good tracks and added more boring mile and half races.
