Anybody know where I can get the paint code for a Red medal dash on a 67 Satellite. It was painted gloss somewhere along the line and I know they were a matte finish from the factory. Also any tips on any shops that sell interior paints. I know Instrument Specialties has it but at $260.00 a pint is a bit much for a driver.
Thanks

Herb's has a great selection of interior paint colors available in spray cans. Does #1182 look close ?

Here's a few -

You can order from TCP Global - should run you more like $125 a quart for something you can spray with a gun - your choice, enamel, lacquer, etc. They can probably help finding the exact color also if you call them and discuss your project.

Good Point--What if I epoxy primer it first without stripping it ?

I've used lots of Herb's paints with great results, blue, green, burnt orange !!! Highly recommended and might be just the easy solution to your "just a driver" detailing job

That may work. I would hate to hear the paint lifted on you. I think i would test it on the ashtray cover of something similar first.  :fingerscrossed:
