Madera county CA license plate directory 1967

a friend found this at a swap meet and sent it to me, pretty crazy that this exists then or now

it lists: current 1967 license plate number - owner's name & address - car year, make & body style for 10,000+ CA automobile plates (model year 1959-1967)

so, I had to look, Madera county had a population of roughly 41,000 in 1967 & 160,000 today

Ford (2,456 registrations) & Chevrolet (2,454 registrations) are believably #1 & #2 but how can it be that close?

843 Plymouths, 423 Dodges, 269 Chryslers/Imperials

it looks like ~5,000 plate numbers are in the E-series (EAA 001  thru  EZZ 999) ***** I see no pins on the "member map" - anyone have history from Madera county?
