At least it wasn't a fake like Smollett. Everyone is on edge so much that people overreacted. Bubba is going to feel ever worse now as compared to what he did, because of all the Smollett comparison posts everywhere.

I'm guessing it's not even a functioning noose based on this picture...if you were to put your hand inside the loop, a proper noose would tighten up around your hand making it not a very good pull rope for a garage door...

I'm guessing this was just a loop tied on the end of a rope make it appear like a noose....

He needed a career boost, just like Smollett. He never had a problem with the rebel flag before this, and little to say about Kyle Larson's incident. Trying to build a fan base playing the race card and bringing in new fans got exposed.
