While I didn't agree with his politics, I respected the man and admired his toughness and the love story he had with wife Barbra.

RIP Mr. President.
Condolences to the family; you are in my prayers
Did not always agree with his politics, but he was a decent man and war hero.

A good man that was derided by the same media that now praises him. Some things never change.

My wife worked for the Points of Light Foundation and had many interactions with the Bush family. She has had nothing but positive things to say about them. I had her get President Bush to sign my Naval Aviator's Log book at one of their events. She said he lit up when he saw it.

Interesting bit of history. One of the pilots in my dad's squadron was shot down, captured, and later killed by the Japanese at Chichi Jima (where Bush was shot down).
