I'd be happy to see a foot or 2 of snow. Business has dropped off for me.  :Stirring: :D

We got a heavy wet snow here shortly after Thanksgiving, and I was afraid that was a precursor to a bad winter.  But then the whole month of December into January we only had a few dustings and mostly mild weather until yesterday.  Yesterday we got a couple inches by me, but I shouldn't complain. Central IL and especially down by St Louis got hammered!
Next weekend it's supposed to get very cold, maybe winter came late and the next couple months will be bad.
I hope not, I'm scheduled to get a hernia surgery mid February and won't be able to lift much for the next month afterwards.  No shoveling for me then, if we get snow during that period I'm in trouble!

IRON MAN

For the past five days, 120 miles east of the SF Bay Delta, got four to six feet of snow depending on the elevation. Some places have ten foot snow drifts. But down here the past five days, it rained pitch forks. Yesterday and today, was/is an exception here. Sunny and 63 degree highs. Talk about extremes. You have a choice of water skiing or snow boarding.

Ya, plow guys love it, skiers and snowmobilers too. I am all skin and bones so I hate the cold and with my bad back can`t snowboard anymore and never had a snowmobile but wouldn`t be able to ride that for too long without it being uncomfortable so I`m stuck in the house bored with aching joints.

I`m ready to move south in the next few years but problem is trying to convince the wife, her friends and family lives close by and she would have trouble moving away from them
