A Mystery 4 barrel air cleaner to go with the N94 T/A hood.
Not sure which engine this is for.
It could be 383 or 440, or it could be a rejected prototype because it wouldn't work with air conditioning, or it could be a prototype for the canceled 1971 TA since the six pak was not allowed on the race cars.
It's extremely rare. Fram was the air cleaner vendor. This was found leftover at the Fram plant by the guy who did the spotwelds back then.

Probably does not technically qualify as an option because it came that way but the dealer made it very clear to me that my brand new 1972 340 'Cuda was the only one to have this color combo and there was to be no other. It was a biege/yellow/cream like exterior color and an avocado green interior with same color green top. I did not really like that color combo in that I wanted a Black 440 but that is all they had at the time. Later I came to appreciate how unique it was but too late.
The pictures are old so the color is somewhat off.

Over The Counter Replacement VIN Plate.
The stamps to stamp it were sold separately.

AFAIK this is the first known production 1971 HEMI'cuda
FE5 - "rallye red" as expected
H5X9 - "salt & pepper" cloth & vinyl interior, pretty unusual
W12 - trim rings & hub caps  - getting strange
C14 - "rear shoulder belts" = RARE (& missing)

:crying: & it's NOT mine!

I'll cry with you.  I would have LOVED to see some E body C14 rear shoulder belts!
:crying:

There is a metal reinforcement plate / bracket that goes under the package tray and fastens to it with screws.
The plastic interior panel has the cutout for the rear seat shoulder belt bolt marked on the back side of the panel.
The belt itself is very similar to the front seat shoulder belts.
The belt length might be a little different, and it has a different part number on it.

Bottom pics show where the interior panel is marked for the seat belt bolt.

Was that part of the A01 package?   :notsure:

RED steering wheel with Partial Horn Ring

I would've never guessed that car was red on red - "PILOT" 1970 440 Six Pack Challenger R/T convertible

It's really difficult to tell with black and white pictures.
