Last weekend was looking to be the best weekend of the year.  Mopar feature at a local cruise Friday, the Vintage races at Road America WI with the #42 cuda and #77 Challenger there for the first time in 6 or 7 years, and the Chicagoland Mopar Connection biggest show of the season in Belvidere IL.  A low camped out just east of the area and spun off and on rain all 3 days.  WTH!  It's usually real hot this time of the year but for once it was nice, but careful what you wish for as we got all this rain along with the moderate temps!
Weekend wasn't a total bust though.  Mopar Mitch and I got an early start Saturday up to Road America and had a great time until the rain started at 2 and lasted 2 hours.  The #42 was having some sort of rear end problems and didn't run with the rest of the Trans Am cars, but at least the 77 was out.  And I got to sit in the 77 car!
On Sunday, it was raining at my house which ruined my ideas of taking my convertible out to Belvidere for the first time in a number of years.  But I made the 60 mile west trek anyway in my daily driver Fiat Dart, and the weather wasn't bad until it started to light rain for an hour or so starting around 1 pm.
