What brand makes the best e-body die cast 1:18 scale? Prices and quality seem to vary a lot with each brand. It seems like the best quality may be in this order: AUTOart, ACME, GT Spirit, ERTL Signature.

Chryco Psycho

Auto art are very good , Acme is excellent with the Gurney / Posey cars
Spirit is just resin body nothing opens
Ertl is middle of the road

Rich G.

Supercar collectibles has really nice cars. Greenlight has one out now.

Is it ironic 1:24 scale e-bodies (Franklin Mint, ACME) sell for more than 1:18 scale. There are five Challengers on eBay where buy it now price is approaching $400 range?  There are two Cudas 1:24 Scale selling for over $1,200.00. And, a few others in the $500.00 range.

Chryco Psycho

$400 is beyond what I would ever spend ,
I have bought a few very reasonably that have seriously gone up in value
2 of my favs are the X9 AAR  American Muscle & X9 T/A Supercar collectables , both are limited run & hard to find now

I've got 1:18 Highway 61 Black, B5, and FK5 T/As along with a Mr Norms purple one.
One of my oddballs is a Highway 61 1:24 triple black '70 hemi Challenger R/T.

Definitely don't forget Highway 61.  Have lots of them.  Any in particular you are looking for?  Problem is Highway 61 are getting spendy since they don't make them anymore.

I have got a Franklin Mint RED 70 Hemi Cuda Convertible. I know I paid around $109.00 for it from Franklin Mint back in the early 90's.
What is that worth Today ???
