@Matt M  Did that A66 Challenger come with the SE tail finish panel? Was it a WSS also?
Thanks!

Ben

Heres a pic of my 69 GTS 340 4 spd, all matching #'s , i  used to run around with back in 93.  I pulled the original engine and rebuilt another to run street/ strip. I wound up ventilating the engine at E-Town Mopar show .  Was running  ported heads, LD340 Holley 700 Dbbl Pumper, Racer Brown Hyd cam, 727 w/ cheetah reverse valve body, Coan converter 3.91 gear. Best was 1.65 60' 12.73 ET thru the mufflers. (stock fuel line- mechanical pump). Engine was out the next day and another was sent to the machine shop. Those were the days .. 4-5 340's in stock etc. Think I sold it in 96
The other was a 56 Power Wagon that was pretty rust free. Sold that ,it went out west.
Also regret selling my 71 'Cuda 383 triple black matching # automatic. needed 1/4's but at the time could have bought one done cheaper.

Hi Ben
That's the panel that came on the car. It was factory original.
It did not have the WSS option

Hmm. I never got rid of any vehicles I wasn't glad to get rid of. They were either used up, or I was tired of them.
:dunno:

But I never had the kind of vehicles that Sheldon had......

'74 Gold Duster.  Had custom fender flares made for it and painted all black including dyeing the vinyl roof black.  No exterior door handles.  Just a thin white pinstripe along the bottom and flares.  Had M50-14's on the rear.  Fender flares on the rear were extended to the edge of the tires.  Gotta be a picture in a box somewhere.

Hard to pick one, would loved to have them all back. My first car was a `68 Chevelle, pretty sure (didn`t know a lot about cars or codes back then) it was an original SS 396 4 spd car. I bought when I was 17 for $500 with a 307/powerglide thrown into it, wasn`t real fast but looked cool, always wished I could have kept it and reinstalled the 396. Probably the one I regret selling the most was a `70 road runner 383, 4 spd, air grabber car as it was a project I never finished. I bought it with the 383 but with a 727 installed, bought an A833 and drove it for a while but after sitting in my parents driveway as an eye sore they said it had to go. Iv`e built a couple other cars knowing I would sell them when done but still hard to see them go.

That's a tough one.....

The one car I had the most fun with back in the day was my 1970 olds w-31.

my white '89 LeBaron Turbo GT Coupe.  I had stripped a ton of cool stuff off of a Shelby CSX, but never got to work any of it into the car before I had to part with it.  I had put shocks and springs on it and an MP computer and was a great road car.  The GF at the time inadvertently did a Bo Duke'ed it over a large drainage dip in the road and bottomed the suspension slamming the oil pan into the asphalt.

Came out after dinner and my poor car was sitting in a 25' circle of motor oil and transmission fluid.  The pan was smashed and the trans axle had a crack in the housing.  Wasn't worth putting the effort into what was at most an $1800 car at the time (just out of college, new job).  Anyway, I still have the 2001 Mustang GT Bullitt that replace it.

I had an 89 GTC that was an amazing car.  Ran great (turbo), seats fit light a glove, and the car was just neat.  It lost 2nd gear and I was in college so away it went.  I really liked that car.

Car I regret we sold was probably a 77 Royal Monaco.  It was mustard yellow with matching interior, 400 4bbl, and was built like a battleship.  We took it through a touchless car wash and the dryer ripped all the trim off and my dad made me get out while the rinse was still spraying to put the trim in the back seat.  People who've never driven a big heavy car from that time period don't know what luxury really is.

1970 Charger R/T XS29U0G177194 I bought for $100 back on 2/4/80.  :wowzers: :inlove: :takemymoney: :wrenching: :wrenching:

Strange days for me, I had just days before traded my 73 Challenger Rallye for a 71 Chevy Nomad station wagon. Chevrolet had brought the name back as a 4 door model in the Chevelle lineup for 71-72. :notsure:  :notsure: I would love to go back to New Year's day 1980 and whack myself with a clue-by-four :stop: :stop: :stop: :stop: :stop: :Thud:
