Very Cool! Loved the way he told that story!
SR-71 was always my favorite out of every plane that ever flew.
Lockheed Skunk Works are legendary. Published speed of the SR-71 was Mach3+. Ceiling 80,000 ft. Word was back in the 80's when
I was in the Aerospace Industry It was actually capable of Mach 3.5 and 100,000 ft. sustained. What a great Piece of Aviation History!

RS71 was the original name but President Johnson got it backwards when he announced it.  They just changed the name instead of correcting him. 😆
