Rear Speakers on a factory AM- 8-Track

Ok, this one caught me off guard. I have a 34K mile 70 Cuda with a R22 AM/8-track and a three speaker dash.
I had my R22 converted to modern internals.
I also replaced all the wiring on the dash.
I noticed that there was a factory wiring harness going to the rear speakers, I don't think they were connected.
I looked in the trunk and there were two speakers installed.
When I pulled the speakers, they have part numbers on them and a pentastar and appear to be in great shape.
I also found three mice nests.
When I pulled the Package Tray, there were two speaker cutouts in the tray but they were never pulled from the tray.
Anyone seen this before?

Those aren't factory speakers from 1970, maybe 1980 ???

You may be right but when I was taking it apart from the car, everything looked like it had not been touched. My gut feel is they have on there since 1970.
I just noticed one of them says "Made in U.S.A." and the other one says "Made in Mexico".
It did have a correct factory wiring harness and was wired correctly and routed correctly.

Here is a 1970 speaker.  Our 1970 'cuda also has R31 on the fender tag and a Fader Control.

   those magnets are too big for 1970 & no plastic speaker "quick disconnects" like that either
