Heater hose nipple size question

So, I unintentionally used an early style water pump housing on my Hemi so it has provisions for 5/8" nipples...but of course I should be using 1/2" & 5/8". What should I do short of changing the housing?

@anlauto Thank. That seems to be 1/2 hose to 3/8 NPT though. Don't I need 5/8?

it's 3/8" pipe thread...that's the correct size for what you are doing in my opinion
