Added a few more pics for historical purposes.  Hopefully the seller will add some engine pics at some point.

I'd love to drive it as is, but would have to be 1/2 the price they are asking.

She's pretty tired looking!
That's one that's tough to value.  It could be used as is, but really needs to be blown apart and a full resto done on it, which would cost far more than a restored NOM auto AAR would ever be worth.
I enjoy seeing patina sometimes, but as a lifelong rust belt area resident, rot and bondo are not things I can live with or want to look at, seen far too much of that in the last 50 years I've been a car freak!  :barf:

It's interesting that they list a few other cars as projects but not this one.  :dunno:

RUNCHARGER

Yeah: Not feeling it. Probably standard cyclops dash, auto, rust bucket and the mechanical probably has to be redone. $20 wheel trim rings. Nope.

That is a great looking project and I am with Katfish that I would also drive it for a while just as it is ... but with it not being totally original (and missing some of the most critical original parts (IMO) like the fender tag, original paint and engine), it's ripe for a total resto for another $100K. So at that price, it's a bit steep. Love the color combo though!

RUNCHARGER

I went on Facebook and blew up the photos. It does have a rally dash but is a column shift. Price is still prohibitive. Still better off paying the interest on $50k more for a nice one. Not the original block either. Hard to tell what is wrong under the hood (or interior for that matter).

If you were going to drive this thing as is, you'd best not put anything you value in the trunk. With 6" of the bottom of the 1/4s missing Things would get messy real quick!  :))

Not sure about your corner of the world , in mine ...it's going to get a lot of attention ...especially at a Cars & Coffee event .
J-code cars are odd ducks to begin with , seeing one that's beat to crap is a sight in itself.

I think the hard-core numbers guys are becoming less and less. The old guys interested in the VIN numbers are dying off.
Younger guys have no idea about anything older than 2009 when the new ones came out.
I drive my car a lot, 1 out of 100 will ask if it's a real T/A.
The younger guys just think it's cool to see an old car on the road.
I guess if you just go to car shows, and even then it's rare to see old cars, the old guys may want to look at the VIN.
Face it, we're OLD, and young guys just don't care.
How many here would try to figure out the originality of a 50's car or care?
