Putting together a 1970 Barracuda. I have the parking brake lever, and the setup that uses an intermediate cable. What I need is the initial cable from the parking brake assy to the intermediate cables.

The cable should maybe look something like the attached picture lifted from the web. I.e. I will need the clevis on the cable at the parking brake assy side. Not sure what should be on the other side (rod or ball). I suspect the cable should be ~55" long since it uses the intermediate cable. I know there are a lot of debates on a 70 regarding the setup (intermediate/non-intermediate, cable lengths, etc.), this is just what I happen to have.  Anyone know who makes/sells something that will work? Car was in pieces when I got it so not sure the accuracy of parts/setup that i currently have.

Your 1970 Barracuda shouldn't sue an intermediate cable unless someone has changed the rear cable mounting brackets to 71-74 style ?

I have the equal length rear brake cables that get welded to each side of the frame. FYI, it is a May '70 build date if that matters

Surprised, May is not that "late" of a build. :alan2cents: Interesting it would have 71 parts on it  With 52 years gone by, there's no telling if someone been in there changing things I guess  :dunno:
