The silver film on the heater control buttons and the temp control slide lever are flaking a bit. Can that silver be removed and replaced somehow? How does the knob on the temp control slide lever come off or is it not removeable? Going to a swap meet on Sunday so maybe I can find some good used ones. New ones are just too much money.  :stop:

For sure, there are places that will chrome plate plastic.

There's also DIY kits.  I've not used any of these kits yet, but it's been on my "want" list to test out and see how they work!

Cody, do you have any good control buttons you'd like to sell?

You'll probably have more into "restoring" them than the cost of the repops....

I have a rallye AC switch panel that is missing one button.  It's would be correct for a 71 to 74 Rallye gauge car with AC, but came off a 73.  Is this what you are looking for?  The chrome doesn't appear to be very bad, just needs to be cleaned up.  I can wipe it down and see what it looks like if this is what you need?

I probably have one kicking around here too...

A set of 5 repop buttons is $145 US, that's $200 CDN.

That's the one Cody. I need the OFF, AC and DEFROST buttons. Each button nhas a slightly different angle to them so they can't be intermingled. I also need the temp control lever or just the button. So you have 3 out of 4 but are you willing to part out the control?

Let's see what Alan has.

Do you know what you have there Alan or do I need to search your spare parts warehouse?

I know when I was doing the two sunroof cars last year I had almost three of everything when it came to the dash, so I'm pretty certain I have one here, just not certain where or the condition.
If I remember I will have a look around here tomorrow.... :drunk:
