My center console door will not close flat. The door is not warped because it will sit flush without the hinge.I just bought a used 2nd hinge. It is a little closer but not good enough.Any thoughts for adjustment to get the rear front to sit better.Should I make the holes on the hinge bigger for more adjustment.I know these doors are a pain in the ass to get flush but I like a good challenge.Thank you.

Not perfect is a good way to describe them when they were brand new. Years of sun baking interior heat hasn't helped. But if it sits flush without the hinge you're in a good spot to make it look better than new, just drill or adjust the hinge to make it fit perfectly.

Try mounting the hinge between the inner and outer plastic skins of the lid. That sorted mine out and it sits great now.
