What is the correct screw for the Center console door hinge (screws for attaching the hinge of the center console door)? I was told it is 10-24 X 1/2 PAN HD.

Off the top of my head I think they're smaller than that, I think I used some #8 x 3/8 pan head for those.

Thanks, I have the #8 but it is just a tad too small.

   Not all fasteners are the same today as they were in the 60's & 70's.  And basic hardware store fasteners are not the same as "Automotive Fasteners".  IE ...  10x24 pan head may have larger or smaller or different shaped head. Threads may be deeper or slightly larger diameter.
   I scrounge ALL vintage nuts, bolts and screws when i can.
