Cuda Cup Holder

I bought a cup holder from:

I thought it was too much so I cut it down and made this. I used Velcro to keep it in place on the console.

For those of you without a center console or any place to place a cupholder I use a Zojirushi insulated coffee mug.. Keeps stuff very HOT and doesn't spill.. It's a step up from the Hydroflask I used to swear by

Does that sweat, I'd be worried about build up of water on the console.

I have just installed it, but I have not tried it yet. That is a good question that may have to be addressed. I'm trying to be non-invasive so that may be a problem.

Do people actually drink a lot in their cars ?
Back when I was doing a lot of car shows...I remember I had a "zero food or drink" rule in my cars...used to drive my girlfriend nuts....

I sure do! My kid's car seats have built in cupholders for me. That said, at any given time I'm hauling milk if my son is with me. 

Carpet is cheap if something got out of hand!

Posted before. Dakota console squeezes between the seats.
Not mounted just pull out for shows.

I'm still working on this. It was interfering with the shifter so I changed it.
It is now much smaller and I used an existing screw location to hold it in place (with a longer screw).
Not perfect yet but getting better. I tighten down the screw as much as I could but it still wants to swivel on the screw. I added Velcro to keep it from moving. I'm thinking I need is add a rubber bottom so that it will not move.
Close, but not there yet.

Will have to give it a try. I really just need the cup and not the bridge in between the two.
