I am working on the door latches and handles on my 70 Cuda.  There is a link rod that has one end attached to the key cylinder lock of the door handle, and the other end attached to the door latch.  The end that attaches to the door latch uses a plastic clip to attach the link to the latch lever.  I'm not sure I have the correct plastic clip.  The clip fits loosely on the rod when snapped into position.  This link rod measures 1/8 inch in diameter.  The plastic clip seems to fit the other link rod that attaches to the door handle (which measures about 5/32 inch in diameter).  See the photo below with the red arrow pointing to the plastic clip in question.  Do I have the wrong plastic clip for the 1/8 dia link rod?  Is there a different plastic clip that is made to fit the smaller 1/8 dia link rod?  If so, anybody have a spare there are willing to sell, or a reproduction source?  I would need a total of 2.

Searching the internet, I find several sources for plastic clips that I believe will fit the larger 5/32 inch dia link rod, but nothing that would seem to fit the smaller 1/8 dia link rod.

As always, thanks for the help.

The lock rod DOES NOT get a clip like that. The latch just has a round plastic bushing type thing and the lock rod simply pushes into it until it clicks  :alan2cents:

Thanks for the info.  I looked through the parts catalog, but could not find a part number listed for use in this location on the lock rod.  Would you have a photo of the plastic bushing?  Have you seen a source for the plastic bushing?
Thanks.

@anlauto & @RJChallenger - Thanks for the info and pictures.  If either of you have (2) of the these clips that you would like to sell, or know of a reproduction source please let me know.
Thanks.
