Looking to put a/c in the 70 Cuda. There is a guy selling a evap box and controls for $350 OBO. Am I better or with a kit from Vintage or Classic or should I buy the factory stuff and add the additional items? I could go aftermarket in the eng compartment and buy a factory a/c dash pad for the interior. Or just go with an aftermarket kit all together. I like the look of the factory vents better than the aftermarket ones under the dash...just wondering what kind of a pain this would be.....

If the car had a heater the firewall is different, go with an aftermarket kit.... If it was an A/C car I prefer to keep the under dash parts....

Didn't know the firewall was different.....just thought I had to drill the holes for the A/C lines.

Aftermarket it is....Thanks for the info. It's on the winter project list.

I'd suggest Vintage and use vintage.
