Vent bezel repair

Picked up an extra louver for my center a/c vent. Got it in, looks great, but before I put it back together, I'd like to fix a crack on the mounting ear of the main vent. I'm looking for suggestions on methods; model glue, JB weld, plastic weld, something else. This ear has some stress as it has a mounting lug on it, but not as much load as, say, a light switch.

I can not picture it in my mind, but I think JB weld would work fine.  Maybe you can post a photo and I might have another idea after I see it.
