I need to pull the crush can to get to the turn signal switch. The turn signal arm went limp....lol
I am hoping the screw came loose. It looks like I need a puller with at least a 5" long 3/8-16 bolts to get in there.
Is that correct?

Thanks!
Joe

I've used this one without any issues.

Just looked at the receipt.  Paid $12.69 in April of 2001 for it.    :D

I use a very similar one, but swapped out the bolts for two pieces of threaded rod/nuts to reach down inside the crush can :alan2cents:

Thanks Guys!
I saw that one on e-bay.
Picked one up locally for 18.99. Not the NAPA one.
Might need threaded rod like Alan said to reach down inside the can.

Thanks for the help!

Got the signal arm fixed. The screw loosened up. I put a dab of lock-tite on it and tightened it up.
I didn't realize there was a wide spline on the can and shaft.

Thanks to Cody's video I watched on reassembling the steering column
it went back together with no problems.

I did get some threaded rod from HD like Alan suggested.

Thanks everyone for the help.
