Mike from Cleveland Ohio, hoping to make some progress on this 70 challenger this year. Originally 225 slant 6 ac car very rough, not sure what I was thinking... now it's time to find just about everything to put it together.

Welcome from B.C. Canada. That car actually looks pretty solid compared to a lot of them.

I plan on making it a nice driver,  being a 6 cylinder to start with and almost everything  missing there will be no numbers matching anything original. So my plan is for it to be made into an actual car again, good looking like it should be and driveable with some modern touches.

I did the same with my convertible!  Made it what I wanted and far from original . . . What color are you thinking?  Going modern engine or old school?

:welcome: Mike from Las Vegas. Nice looking project. That one is looking good and has lots of potential. Some out there are so rusty the only thing holding them together is the 6 coats of paint. Be patient on looking for parts, sometimes parts come in streaks. Use this forum to get a good handle on what parts are worth. You see members asking all the time what a certain part is worth.

Plum crazy, I've got a nice 383 and 727 torqueflight for it with an 8 3/4 currently with a  4.10 gear but I don't think that's going to stay it's just in there now to hold the axles in place so I can roll it.

A great big MOPAR welcome to you Mike! from SoCal. Yep, it looks like you've got your job cut out for you. But with a good set of tools and all the help and assistance from this Forum your E-body dreams will be real. Oh! did I mention perseverance. A Slant-6 car when you can get a hold of one is a good start for a no holds barred big block street stormer. My own '70 Challenger started off as a Slant-6 car also, when I bought it in 1973. I still have it and it's still a Slant-6 car.    Thanks,   Al
