A friend of mine told me to check this site out.  Looks like a lot of familiar names.  Very cool.  Currently having issues w/ my car but look forward to cruising the site.

Growing older is mandatory...growing up is optional.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Welcome!

What's wrong with your ride?

Wiped my main bearings, trying to figure out why. Rod bearings are great.

Maybe @Chryco Psycho will have some ideas?  Can you tell more about what is happening?

Sorry for not responding sooner but work has been crazy. The final verdict which made the question on the bearings obsolete is that the previous engine builder bored out my block way too much and now it is shot. I can't take the chance with my application on running it.  Whole lot of money down the drain...  :pullinghair: Max bore on my block was 4.100 I was told. It was already at 4.125 running naturally aspirated. It was taken another .030 out to 4.155. They said my walls could be flexing w/o a full skirt piston and that failure was eminent.
