Welcome.  I hope you don't lose any sleep waiting as that sounds like a pretty exciting deal buddy.   :bradsthumb:

Here's another welcome to the site from Ontario,  :canada:. Gdansk, didn't that used to be called Danzig?

Exactly!  :bigthumb:

Car is 1973 'Cuda. I will wait for arrival and then i will gladly write about all my plans and make some photos. Not many e-bodies here in Poland, personally i have never seen any Barracuda/Cuda, once i saw 72/73/74 (don't know the exact year) Challenger.

With delay, but finally. Some pictures and shortly about car.

It's 1973 'Cuda 340 4bbl (BS23H3B) with 3-speed manual (D13). Original colour mist/pale green (JF1 code, car was once repainted, original JF1 can be seen in engine compartment) with black side stripes and dark green interior. Car needs to be totally restored, but it runs and drives. My plan is to restore it to original, so much work!  :drunk: Numbers matching engine/trans/cowl/radiator support, has fender tag. Only remains of build sheet. I bought some new stuff (thanks to seller, who helped me very much) like new grille, some sheet metal/front floors, front/rear brakes parts, suspension parts, gaskets/seals and some misc. I will need much more. I will also need used, original radio and 340 air cleaner (no air cleaner right now and not original carb - it has Rochester Quadrajet if i'm right).

I will start a new topic when restoration begins. Hope some of you will find it interesting and i'm sure i will get so much knowledge here!

Greetings from Poland!

Congratulations @Bartek!  I like the colors.  The 3 at the knee is pretty cool too! :burnout:

Welcome from Sweden! I been to Poland many times, never seen a Mopar there, must be rare.
Cool Cuda, never seen a 3 speed floor shifter before.

Hi! I've been twice to Karlskrona for a short time. Sweden is beautiful country. You're right, old Mopars are pretty rare here in Poland. Most of US classics here are GM (especially quite common C3 Corvettes and Camaros, Firebirds) and various years of Mustang. E-body i've seen only once, sometimes i see 1971-1974 Chargers. I know there are some interesting E and B-bodies, but it's extremely hard to see them live beyond the car "show".

Hi and Welcome. That has got to be a pretty rare site in Poland! I was just in Wroclaw a few month's ago (2nd time), I love going there. Enjoy the car and the site :)

Hi Guys,

short question, what carb would you buy for 1973 340-4bbl with 3 manual trans:

1. original, old Thermoquad and rebuild kit for it
2. new Edelbrock carb
3. another option?

Right now i've got Rochester Quadrajet and want to change it to original one (Thermoquad) or better/newer one (Edelbrock etc.).

I missed this one originally. Just wanted to say Welcome!  :handshake:

With the carb, If your wanting to restore it to original I guess you will need to search for one with the correct date codes etc... depends how " original" you want to go? I'd imagine parts availability over in Poland will be in short supply? and expensive to ship everything over?
Me I'd just go with a Holley style carb.... but originality is not important to me.
