Do they have the red, green, yellow printing on the sides like the pictures?  Or is that just advertising?

anlauto

I wouldn't think so...I think they just high light them for advertising :alan2cents:

I want to order one of these but I am OEM Mopar battery illiterate. Is there a reference chart somewhere that shows which car came with which battery? I know it depends on model, engine, etc. but I just don't know where to start.

If it helps the battery would be for a 1970 Challenger R/T w/440-6 and 4 speed but a chart would be nice for future reference.

6bblgt

basically (1970):
a-body = GREEN - STANDARD & YELLOW - OPTIONAL

b-body &
e-body w/6cyl, 318 = GREEN - STANDARD & RED - OPTIONAL
e-body w/340, 340+6, 383 2, 383 4 = YELLOW - included w/engine or model UP-GRADE & RED - OPTIONAL
e-body w/440, 440+6, HEMI = RED - included w/engine UP-GRADE

@packnsix  1970 440+6 Challenger R/T = group 27 RED

on a broadcast sheet:
___ (BAT 51) = group 21 GREEN
F23 (BAT 20) = group 24 YELLOW
F25 (BAT 69) = group 27 RED

@MoparDave old topic I know. From what I have gathered when screening the forum, you seem to know more than most people about restoration batteries.
I'm looking for a 27 red top battery for my restoration. Do you sell these? If not, which supplier has the highest quality battery?

Thank you!

I've had one on order from Battery central mall (who looks to be the Manufacture) since June 8th, I called them back in mid  July and they said their build time was 10-11 weeks and they were a little behind due to the Covid-19.
