Like Alan said, "wish they were cheaper", but, for the meantime, or until I win some lottery and can afford various things for the car. I. Picked up the battery cover with green caps and the decals to resemble a genuine group 24 battery. Better than seeing a Wallyworid Everstart. Thanks,   Al

That looks pretty good, where do you get that?
It came with the car when I bought it back after 26 years and only 452 miles added. It sat dry for many years  until I added acid and distilled water back in May and discovered a small crack in the side, I'm sure it's fixable if someone want to invest the time

I could not bring myself to pay 70$ for a piece of plastic... if you add the price of a good battery, you're getting close to the repro battery at 300$...

Sage words Ben, however when I purchased the cover, which was awhile ago, I believe I paid at the time $49.00. Your right in the sense that by the time you add up all of your individual purchases you've reached the goal of the battery in question. But at this point what's done is done. Thanks,   Al
